How in the world could it get as close as eight votes?!

Update 1: Okay, I should really call Rick Santorum the other winner of the Iowa Caucus.  As per the rules, Romney gets 13 delegates, and Santorum gets 12.  Just utterly amazing!

So many things have happened this year, and Skyrim is merely one of them.  Usama bin Laden, meeting his makers and his 72-year-old virgin, is top among them.

Many Democrats are retiring from Congress, as is being mentioned now on my friend’s radio show,DaTechGuy On DaRadio.  Barney Frank top among them in our state.

A major loss in very liberal, but brilliant men Steve Jobs of Apple and unapologetic atheist Chris Hitchens.  Another, more aesthetically pleasing loss in North Korean Evil Dictator, Kim Jong Il.

Occupods, the illegitimate children of Georgie Soros.  Make your own connections.

On a good note, I had no losses in my family this year.  Three from last year, was three too many.  Uncle Peter, Cousin Megan, and Mom, you are all greatly missed.

Mounting debt, and 1.2T more coming up for Obama’s foibles in the next couple of decades, ummm… years… no, wait… months.  Yeah, that’s it.

The Bruins win the 2011 Stanley Cup.  I should be rejoicing, being a fan of Boston’s sports, but for some reason it doesn’t excite me.

Diablo 3 and being selected for the Beta.  That excited me.  Looks to be good so far.

Elder Scrolls 5, Skyrim.  Only had it for a few days, but it looks good so far.  Still an amazing amount of content.

Peter’s show going to two hours.  And the upcoming new years festivities in Fitchburg and Tewksbury.

In the last two elections, during the primary season before the Iowa Caucus, which of the presumptive front-runners won the nomination? Please, I’d like an answer.

If you answered both of them, you need to get your head out of the sand. Wrong, wrong, WRONG! If you answered one, you’re not paying attention and are just guessing. You might be new to the game so I’ll give you a pass on this one.

If you answered neither, you answered the $64,000 question correctly! No, you don’t get $64,000, you get the satisfaction that you answered it correctly while you were watching the game show on TV, or the net. Get the hint? Until the Primaries roll around, you just don’t know. And things changed drastically DURING the primaries.

Mitt Romney was the front runner last time. We were left with (ugh) McCain. We could get left with Huntsman, perish the thought. Hillary Clinton was the font runner and we were left with Ogabe (name copyrighted by nicedoggie.net). John Kerry was polling third in the primaries during this same period of time in 2004.

It’s nice to guess, but we do not know. Things change at the drop of a hat.

Police have cordoned off the crash site in front of the Senate, where members of both houses were seen congregating and deliberating on how to inform the public on this disaster.  Many moving trucks were seen being driven towards the site, and many members of Congress were identified as the drivers.  Claims were made that the gifts that were strewn around the crash site would be delivered by the grieving legislators, though many said “no comment” as to when they would be delivered, but none claimed they would come in time for Christmas Day.  Many of them were seen driving away rather quickly, especially Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-California), and Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada).  President Obama came in with TOTUS in hand to address the nation, followed by a caravan of 16 wheeled trucks with heavy payloads and Secret Service loading all of the trucks to capacity.

I have been informed that the gifts would be delivered to the proper person and place (and appreciate that the gun from the Secret Serviceman was removed from the back of my head.)

Many doubt that the gifts would be delivered at all.  Occupy Wall Street decried that the gifts should have gone to them, and continued to stink up the streets of the nation.

Again, Santa’s current location remains unknown.

“The international brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) 103 (Local 103) is protesting the decision of Newburyport’s Anna Jaques Hospital to go with a non-union electrical contractor for its $15 million expansion.”

And there is much rejoicing.

“The campaign, ‘Anna Jaques Exposed,’ is flaring up controversy in Newburyport, an end nowhere in sight.”

“According to Local 103 business agent Louis Antonellis, the group will soon have a storefront downtown, to be used as a campaign base and to educate about the union’s chief issue. The fight is over healthcare, Antonellis says.”

*Slams head on desk*  There’s better office space for you.  In Lawrence.  I’m sure Willy Lantigua would love to have you.  To me, you’re an eyesore every time I go downtown.

I would disagree, as would a lot of the signs I see around town saying “I support Anna Jacques Hospital”, vs the total absence of “Anna Jacques Exposed” and the sole banner of “Unhealthy Hospitals” held in Market Square.  This is coincidental evidence that people are getting tired of you.  I certainly am.

“The union’s website says that ‘Over the last 25 years, political power has shifted dramatically to corporate and wealthy special interests and away from working families,’ and that corporate greed has undone 60 years of progress.”

Agreed on Corporate Greed, but sadly, Unions have become just as greedy, and in some cases, a lot nastier.  There is no evidence of violent behavior, there is evidence of people complaining about union sign holders shouting obscenities at people who disagree, even in the presence of young children.

“While there is little public evidence of community support for the “Exposed” campaign, Antonellis says, ‘when [people] take the time to listen, they are appalled by the hospital’s decision.’”

If there is little public evidence of community support, they may have more information than you think.  This is NOT a stupid community no matter what you think.  And if a fairly liberal community like Newburyport doesn’t approve of your actions, you have little leg to stand on.

This is my opinion on the matter.

Hoping to set up a youtube feature in the next month or so, this is likely around gaming lines with political talk.  Already have an idea of how to do it, but I’m keeping everything under wraps for now.

Herman Cain – In a nutshell, I like Cain, I like his ideas.  The videos via Michelle Malkin made me cringe.  I’d like him to win, but it’s getting more and more unlikely.  Not sure what role he could fill with the eventual winner.

Newt Gingrich – Damaged goods (some deservedly, mostly damaged through lies), but may have the best shot with Cain losing the spotlight.  Likely the best debater left on the stage.

Michelle Bachmann – Still like her, but she has become largely irrelevant in the primary scene.

Jon Huntsman – Moderate, almost RINO.  Nice enough guy, but he needs to exit stage left.

Rick Perry – Some recovery, but too little too late.  Money may keep him in longer than he deserves.

Mitt Romney – If he does win, hopefully animus for Obama will trump discontent for a Romney Nomination.  Still some major concerns here.

Rick Santorum – A shame he doesn’t have a bigger campaign.  Probably would have been the best of the bunch.

All of the Above – Still time for things to change.  The Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primaries will start to thin the bunch out.  Start with Huntsman, please.

Well my response to the Global Climate Change crowd is… “Well, Duh!”

This is not an easy thing to solve, regardless of what some politicians tell you. Trying to share in the sacrifice while our economy is weak may be enough to put many businesses over the edge. We need something to spark our economy, not kill it.

As for big government politicians ruining the economy, regardless of party, oh yeah… pet projects need to go… NOW, if not sooner!  The fact that threats are being made against Social Security and Veterans, is political thuggery at it’s worst.

This is regarding people trying to protect us from Anna Jacques Hospital and their horrid history of malpractice.

Well, as you can see, there are doctors here who have had to make a malpractice payment.  The reasons for malpractice payments are many, some legitimate, some motivated to just get rid of a complaint of someone who can push it.  It’s not as clear as people may think.

One doctor made a malpractice payment eight years ago.  Obviously it wasn’t enough to eliminate him from practice. Some are complaints from as long as 10-15 years ago.  Many that I see are singular, as in only one.  If you want to dig, use the links above.

That being said, when a “whois” is done on the AnnaJacquesExposed.com site is done, it’s revealed as being registered by Local 103 I.B.E.W. (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) on Dec 10, 2010.

Shocking, an Electrical Labor Union behind this investigation!  Could it be that their “bid/extortion” was rejected by the hospital?  That’s what I hear around town.  From what I hear, they’re a bit more of a laughing stock.  I drive by their sign “AnnaJacquesExposed.com” on a daily basis as they hold the signs.  Perhaps they should take their thuggery elsewhere.  Pound Sand.  Something.  They’re just an eyesore now.
